This 6″ , 2 layer Dragonfly cake and mini cupcakes was made for a friends wedding in August 2009.

This tiny cake was used as their “cutting” cake in the absence of an official wedding cake.  The cupcakes where served to guests in lieu of cut cake.  Bride and groom attempted to take the remainder of the cake home for later consumption, but due to melting frosting and perhaps a few too many glasses of wine had by the bride, the cake slid out of her hands and onto the floor.  Luckily, she knows where to find more cake when she needs it!

Chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream filling and vanilla butter cream frosting.

The cupcakes are chocolate cake with vanilla butter cream or vanilla cake with chocolate butter cream.
